When you first come up the road into Valley of the Temples cemetery, you'll usually see the stunning mist on the Ko’olau mountains. Further up the road, you pass the Byodo-In Temple on your right hand side. As you continue forward, you see the sign for the Ocean View section and next arrive at the monument with the American Flag plaque and the flagpole. There, at the the foothills of those luscious green mountains, you find yourself in peaceful surroundings of the Garden of Patriotism. It is truly a special place to lay your loved ones to rest. And you will feel that peace every time you visit them.
