The plot number is 53-A and was for my paternal grandparents but never used, due to reasons unknown to me. I have all of the original paperwork and have been in contact with the office there, so sale and transfer of deed should be fairly smooth. I will cover the deed transfer fees of $250.
This plot would cost $12,000 if purchased new in today's market, and the two grave sites on it can be used for up to four interments. There are no additional costs to the purchaser in terms of care and upkeep of the lot as this was included in the initial purchase price back in 1956, so it will remain beautiful in perpetuity. The asking price is for a plot with two grave sites, for clarification.
And to avoid any confusion, this price is for the deed to the land only, which is undeveloped. There is no grave marker in place (this would be handled by Puritan Lawns and any future owner) and no burial plan included. Any future costs related to burial plans and development are the responsibility of the purchaser.
