$8,000 burial plot in Mount Ararat Cemetery
This is one of two plots that our parents purchased. Our father was buried in one of the plots in 1963. After his death, we moved from New York and for the last 40 years my family has lived in Canada. Our mother passed away here in British Columbia Canada and it did not make sense to transport her body back to New York since we are all living here. She was therefore, buried here. None of my immediate family or extended family reside in New York. We understand that cemetary plots in Mount Ararat are limited and so we decided to sell this one instead of leaving it unused.
