Description

The Agudas Achim Cemetery Association incorporated well over 100 years ago. The first burial was Abraham Schaffer, the spiritual leader of the new congregation Agudas Achim (later called Agudat Achim). From the 1920s until the mid-1990s, there was a beautiful cemetery chapel near the entrance. In 2013 it was regrettably torn down now that funeral services are performed in the main sanctuary or chapel within the synagogue.
